Without any surprise from the British public, Lord Geidt, the Ethic’s advisor to Boris Johnson, resigned last night.
No Ethics
The main reason for this is that he had nothing to do. There were no ethics to be found at number 10, whatsoever.
“I was basically sat twiddling my thumbs all day, waiting for some ethics to come along. But none ever came,” Lord Geidt told the Druid’s Loom.
“There was just no job satisfaction at all. I was hoping to be able to give the Prime Minister some good advice, on how to form a new social housing policy, or the best way to handle immigration,” he explained.
Devoid of Moral Compass
“However, it appears that this shit show of a government is totally devoid of any moral compass or basic humanity – so the consideration of any form of ethics is totally redundant.”, he added, dismally.
“I therefore felt that it was, in the interest of my own sanity, to hand in my notice. At least I don’t have to see Boris’ fat lying face every day from now on.” he concluded, smiling a little.
Good Riddance
A representative for the Prime Minster, Mr Ian Bumfold, told the Druid Loom,
“To be honest, it’s good riddance. All our policies are designed to be as cruel and heartless as possible. Having some ‘woke’ Ethic’s Advisor whining all day about the moral implications of tossing immigrant children back into the sea, was really getting on my tits,” he explained, rolling his eyes.
“How are we supposed to have a realistic discussion about reintroducing the death penalty, if ‘whingey pants’ Geidt, keeps throwing a spanner in the works? Citing ‘human rights’, as if it’s important,” he added, snarling.
Leaving the ECHR
It is understood, by the Druid’s Loom, that Boris Johnson and Priti Patel will be celebrating Lord Geidt’s departure, by leaving the European Court of Human Rights, and beating up some refugees.
